What is Syndication?
In its most simplistic form, web syndication makes content available to other websites. When considering our real estate video products, keep in mind that we “syndicate” your video across the web.
-
Is there a difference between Syndication and Viral Marketing?
Yes. Viral marketing has a life of its own. Take for example your sphere of influence and word of mouth. On the web, viral marketing happens when others utilize your content for many different purposes, which repeatedly happens as more people find your content.

My listing is not on the market anymore but it’s still on the internet?
It is up to you, to notify VideoAFX of any changes that involve the listing status. Once notified of an expired, withdrawn, sold, or off market listing, we will remove your video from our major distribution points on the web. However, any search engines that have indexed your video or any other websites that do not abide by the display policies of VideoAFX, may still find ways to display your video. VideoAFX also has the right to display your video content indefinitely.
-
What is the average length of a Video?
The average length of your video production depends upon which product you select. Next to each of our products, you can find the average length of the video production.

-
What if I want to keep my Property Website longer?

What is Streaming?
Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by, and normally presented to, an end-user while it is being delivered by a streaming provider. As the video is being watched, the server streaming the video allows the user to fast forward before the video is finished transferring over the user’s internet connection. True streaming also allows for bandwidth detection (how fast or slow a users connection speed is), which tells the server what the video bit rate should be upon delivery. The lower the suggested bit rate, the lower quality of video. Although, the video is able to be watched immediately in real time, typically without having to be buffered throughout the users experience. Many video production companies shy away from these details, while offering what is referred to in the tech word as Progressive Downloading. Progressive downloading does not allow for bandwidth detection, fast forwarding, and varying bit rate delivery. How fast your connection is, determines how fast you can literally download the video for viewing purposes.
-
Do I have to pay for streaming?
The first 3 months is on us. After this initial term, we require $9.95 per month, for every two videos currently online. If you become a VideoAFX Pro ($24.95 per month), we will stream all of your videos until you miss or stop a payment.

How do I get my Branded & Unbranded links into REIN?
Upon delivery of your video, we will provide you with two seperate links. The first one is a link to your property website, which is the branded version. The second link is a pop-up link, featuring your unbranded version. In both cases, you will have to ask your office administrator to update your listing in REIN with these links (unless you have authorization to modify your listing yourself).
-
What is a WMV link?
We also deliver your video in another file format called a WMV. This is a link that you can click on to view your video on your personal windows computer. It also allows you to "save target as," meaning you can now save the video to your computer as a WMV file for later viewing, uploading, burning, etc.
